POSTAGE GUIDELINES

Please Note: The below information is to be considered guidance only; EX_MACHINA accepts no liability for loss, seizure, delay, destruction or return of any item sent or received. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that suitable packaging is used when sending an item, and that said packaging is also suitable for the item to be returned in. We have never had any issues when the below guidelines have been followed correctly.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SEND?

When sending your weapon system there are a few things we need in addition to the weapon system itself, this allows us to tune your weapon system to the accessories that you will be using on game days and ensure maximum reliability and performance.

Please include:

- The weapon system.
- Any muzzle device like a suppressor or flash hider that you intend to use with the weapon system.
- Any spare or OEM parts if available (This is only if your weapon system has previously been modified).
- At least one magazine of the make/model you use during game play.
- At least one battery of the type/voltage you use during game play.
- Air Line and Regulator if it is an HPA system.

- All AEG RIFs and components can be shipped through Royal Mail.
- You must use Royal Mail First Class or above service.
- You must present the package at a Post Office for shipping.
- You must ensure your Name & Return Address are visible on the package.
- You must ensure that no images of the RIF are visible on the package.
- You must ensure that the RIF is packaged in a suitable sealed, rigid box.
- You must ensure that the RIF is not loaded or is incapable of discharging.
- You must ensure that batteries are securely packaged.
- DO NOT send damaged batteries of any type, ever.
- DO NOT send used NiMH batteries in isolation.
- DO NOT send LiPo batteries (whether used or not) in isolation.
- DO NOT send gas or gas magazines even if depressurised or disassembled.
- DO NOT send your RIF in a non-rigid gun bag of any kind.

We recommend using the original box the RIF came in, taped closed and then further wrapped in plastic (black bin bags are a good, low cost solution) and then taped again to ensure that the package is sealed. You can use a locked hardcase; however, please be aware the case is likely to receive some form of abrasive damage during transit and Royal Mail may remove any locks to inspect the contents.

When presenting your RIF to the Post Office, please be honest with them about the contents of the package. Be aware that some Royal Mail staff may not be familiar with their own Restricted Goods policy; provide them with the information available at the below links.
